What to expect from this 5 day Tuli and Big Five Safari:

Mala Mala Game Reserve borders the legendary Kruger National Park and is often considered some of the finest predator territory in the Greater Kruger area. A visit to Mala Mala will leave you with an unquenchable thirst for more of this dramatic region.

Mashatu Game Reserve in the Tuli Block of Botswana is a place where ancient Africa still lives on. Here is a place where the wilderness itself dominates the senses – a place where the giants of Africa such as baobabs and elephants are dwarfed in the immensity of the place.

Days 1 & 2: Mashatu Main Camp – Mashatu Game Reserve

On the first day of your Tuli Block safari in Botswana you will fly from Johannesburg to Limpopo Valley Airstrip from where you will be transferred to Mashatu Main Camp where you will stay for the next two nights.

Activities during your stay at Mashatu will provide the opportunity to experience an area of dramatic beauty and wildlife experiences. Activities include game drives, night drives and walks with optional activities such as horse riding and mountain biking.

Your accommodation at Mashatu Main Camp is made up of 14 luxury rooms with en-suite facilities and sliding doors that open onto the pristine African bush.

Days 3 & 4: Mala Mala Game Reserve – Greater Kruger Park

After a morning activity and breakfast you will be transferred back the airfield for your flight to Mala Mala Game Reserve situated between the Kruger National Park and Sabi Sands Game Reserve where you will spend the next two nights of your 5 day Tuli and Big Five Safari.

Mala Mala is where the luxury safari was born, but more than the luxury Mala Mala is a giant stage where the most dramatic animal interactions have taken place. During your stay you will explore the area on game drives and night drives.

Your accommodation at Mala Mala will depend on which of the three lodges you will be staying at – all three have luxury rooms with en-suite facilities. Highlights include dining out under the stars around a large bonfire.
