Land of the ancientsThe Tuli area is described as the land of the giants because of the presence of baobabs and elephants in numbers, and the occurrence of the world’s largest antelope, the eland, and the world’s largest bird in the ostrich – and though this title is well suited I prefer to use the term land of the ancients, for here is an Africa that was thought to be long gone.
It is in Tuli where the ancient rhythm of the continent is heard in almost every moment. The baobabs on the red earth add to the idea of ancients still sharing their wisdom with the wild creatures. Tuli is an experience to savour, an experience that will linger forever on the edge of your memory.
